Our environmental technicians are skilled in conducting confirmatory soil sampling to verify the extent of contamination and to confirm that remedial action levels have been satisfied. We also provide in-situ soil treatment methods for suitable conditions whenever practical and cost effective. Some of our example soil remediation projects are provided below:

  • Excavation, transport, and offsite disposal of hydrocarbon contaminated soils at a rubber products manufacturing facility. Contaminated soils were excavated from beneath the structures onsite and within the adjacent storage yards. Upon completion the building subgrade/floors and facility grounds were restored for reuse.
  • Excavation, transport, and offsite disposal of de-listed wastes previously disposed and capped in an Air Force base landfill. Upon completion the former landfill was backfilled, compacted, graded, and restored for post closure development.
  • Excavation, transport, and offsite disposal of soils contaminated with heavy metals from discarded lead acid batteries at a large scrap metal recycling facility.
  • Repository construction and capping including digging, hauling, and placing contaminated soils at the Cherokee County, Kansas USEPA National Priority Listed Superfund site.
  • Repository construction and capping including digging, hauling, and placing contaminated soils in association with a former zinc smelter facility.
  • Excavation, transport, and consolidation of millions of cubic yards of metals contaminated soils at the Oronogo-Duenweg USEPA National Priority Listed Superfund site.

Through our affiliate companies (Mid-Way Environmental Services, Inc. and Lincoln Transportation) we provide vacuum truck services for a wide variety of applications with special emphasis on oilfield, commercial, and industrial waste generators. Our vacuum trucks can be used for the pumping and transport of most liquid wastes and can be deployed quickly in the event of a spill or release where liquids must be collected and contained quickly. Emergency response services are available 24-hours per day.
